This amplifier has been conceived to express the maximum musical quality.
We have followed the concept of maximum simplicity and minimum length signal path, using analog circuits only, without caps on the signal path.
The power supply 600VA toroid transformer is doubled (magnetic and electrostatic) screened to avoid any noise generation and induction. The power supply circuits - one per channel - embed inductive filters to eliminate harmonics frequency on the power line. All power supply caps are specified for audio application and altogether count up to 64.000 mF.
This device is able to drive up to 1 Ohm loads.
This device can be upgraded to a MONO amplifier, with three times the power. In this case the minimum allowed load will be 2 Ohm.
Internal power lines and signal paths wirings are achieved by very high quality cables and using the minimum amount of connectors, all soldered using a tin/silver alloy, while PCB tracks are gold plated. Inputs are RF filtered.
Please use cables without forks or plugs; this practice will save money and get better electrical performances.
No relays have been utilized to delay output switch. This function is electronically embedded into the circuits.
Soft Audio Devices are designed to kill every mechanical vibration; that's why it is possible to replace rubber feet with steel cones, if you own a very stiff table. Although the preamplifier is ready to go in a few seconds, we advise you to wait 15 minutes to taste its best performances.
